Made by Coppersfolly, production of purewasabi commenced in 2003 in Canterbury. Their wasabi is grown in streams, or in soil and is spray free - wasabi can be difficult to grow, preferring cold winter to hot summer and taking 18 months to two years to mature before harvest. To the best of their research world-wide, it is the only wasabi paste made using real wasabi with no artificial additives or fillers.

Wasabi is a delicious condiment that goes well with steak, ham, chicken, lamb, sushi and all manner of fish and seafood. It can also be used like mustard in sandwiches and crackers.
