How is your salmon shipped to ensure freshness?

We use specialized insulated packaging and gel ice packs to maintain a strict cold chain. All orders are sent via overnight courier to ensure your salmon arrives in peak condition.

Can I freeze the fresh salmon I receive?

Yes, our fresh salmon is perfect for freezing. We recommend keeping it in its original vacuum-sealed packaging and consuming it within three months for the best quality.

Where is High Country Salmon sourced?

Our salmon is sustainably farm-raised in the glacial-fed hydro canals of Twizel, New Zealand. The constant flow of cold, clean water results in a firm texture and clean taste.

What happens if my delivery is delayed?

While we rely on third-party couriers, we monitor every shipment. If a delay occurs that compromises the safety of the product, we will provide a full replacement or refund.

Do you offer any gluten-free or dairy-free options?

All of our raw, cold-smoked, and hot-smoked salmon portions are naturally gluten-free and dairy-free. Please check the specific ingredients list for our marinated or value-added products.

What is the shelf life of your vacuum-packed salmon?

Fresh vacuum-packed salmon typically has a refrigerated shelf life of 7 to 10 days. Once the seal is broken, we recommend consuming the fish within 2 to 3 days.
